Denti-Drill a very clever (spoof) product.

The people at dreamed up a product called DentiDrill. The idea is pretty simple, using the low cost dental handpiece, you drill out the decay in your loved ones’ teeth and then using the composite material supplied you fill them.

Understandably they managed to get all manner of dental people hot under the collar. (30 odd comments on GDP-UK led me to try to discover more.)

At the moment it gets 15 pages on Google in a number of different languages.

It has a good Facebook page, masses of publicity (not to worry if it’s not all positive) and is addressing a need for low cost simple dentistry – how could it fail?

It’s a spoof, of course it is – we all knew that from the start didn’t we?

Of course we did.

Didn’t we?

The rumour that English Chief Dental Officer, Barry Cockcroft had visions of this taking over where topical fluoride applications had failed is probably as accurate as the product itself.

Isn’t it?

Is it?

The shame is that I have no idea what the parent company do, I presume that it’s something to do with implants but it’s all Dutch to me.
